It started with a snow day.

The world outside had gone quiet and white, and there was only one thing to do: bake. A simple craving for an oatmeal cookie turned into an afternoon of experimenting — a little more of this, a twist of that.

What came out of the oven wasn't just a cookie. It was the beginning of an idea: that the humble oatmeal cookie deserved to be dressed up, layered with the flavors of the desserts we love most.

Today, Lee Danielle Dessert Studio bakes in small batches, by the dozen, for people who believe a cookie can be a little bit luxurious.
